The question is whether banks see value in holding XRP instead of using their own tokens or keeping fiat.
If they don't hold XRP, there's little value in XRP (even if the Ripple protocol goes big).
If banks hold XRP, the sky's the limit -- and it will lead to major XRP demand from multinational corporations, businesses in countries with weak currencies, and anybody who needs immediate access to foreign currencies.
good review @heavey !
It's the devil, sell it and buy XVG

Thanks for the write-up! I've lost touch of cryptocurrencies over the past years, and I've heard high praise for XRP from a couple of friends.

And once you're rich from holding XRPs, read this post: https://steemit.com/money/@vdux/7lbqxr-quote-of-the-day

nice! upvoted. settlement time is def a huge issue in the current financial system
Would you eventually want that XRP can be used as a currency? Or are we just looking at a faster cross-border (mainly international) currency swap?

Great write up. Honestly, Ripple's been one of my favorite coins to watch (and own!). 2018's shaping up to be an amazing year . Thanks for the post!
