I seem to remember hearing they would get refunds at the $ ratio BTC was at at the time, and not refunded in actual BTC, but might be remembering wrong...
That is a very good point! I wonder if perhaps they're in the pool of "debtors" they talk about this sell off paying off? definitely something to dig into and learn more about.

Yes, they will be paid in USD. This is rare case of value growing in the meantime. Usually locking debt in usd would be beneficial to clients. Not in case of BTC
