Dogethereum (DOGX): Dogecoin Hard Fork Announced
For a long time, Dogecoin was considered an absolute fun coup among the cryptocurrencies. Nevertheless, the coin could grow up this year. The first Dogecoin Hard Fork is on the plan, from which Dogethereum (DOGX) is to emerge. The name is a mixture of Dogecoin and Ethereum.
Dogethereum (DOGX), who shares his name with the Rinkyby Project, also known as Dogethereum Bridge, will secede from the Dogecoin Blockchain this fall. This was officially announced on Bitcointalk:

Why would you even want to fork Doge.. not like it is a coin with a lot of value.
1 doge has a very low value, about $0.006148 USD right now.
So, you sell 1000 Dogecoin $6.092844
and the fee to send is 1 doge. It's also a lot faster to transfer, then most coins in my limited experience, Its a no brainer.

I wish they came up with a better name than dogethereum lol. Still exciting and makes me want to pick some up just for the fun of it. It is the Chinese year of the dog. Maybe it will bring some fortune.

Many say that the Doge coin has good prospects to grow and become an option for those who want to invest in this coin. But I have not intended to collect this coin for a while, because I still see ethereum is still potential as an investment option.
