If you are interested in photography, just grab a camera or your phone and start taking pictures. If you hang around these contests, you will get tips from all the other photographers and be inspired by some of their work. We also have a discord for the contest if you are interested.
As far as coding, I spent a few years going to school for it and it is a very valuable skill to learn. It is also one that takes a lot of time. Best of luck to you.
