Finding Joy in Simple Things During a Relaxing Independence Day Holiday

Today was a holiday because it was “Independence Day” here in the Philippines. Since there was no work, I was able to enjoy a much-needed rest. I woke up later than usual, which felt really nice because on regular workdays I always have to get up early. Having the chance to sleep longer helped me feel refreshed and energized for the day ahead.
