[VR Gameplay]Minecraft - surviving my first night in the virtual world
Minecraft in VR is awesome!
I was going to write the first paragraph introducing the game, but then again... who doesn't know Minecraft?
Even though I casually played the game years ago, built a few impressive landmarks with my friends... this is a completely different experience. The feeling of being inside of the blocky world is very strange at first, only to become addictive and completely immersive just a few minutes into the game. Literally can't imagine playing this game on a normal screen anymore!
VR zombies and creepers feel extra... creepy!

That's really the big difference here right? The whole VR thing is taking you into the same game that you've played but changing your whole perspective! Did it feel like playing a whole new game itself?

Hahaha! Yup, I was 100% more emotional while slaying those sheeps.
It is an amazing experience, especially if you've played the game for quite a while and now finding a whole new dimension to it!
Another good example is Elite Dangerous. Some have played it for years and once the developer announced VR support, all the big fans got Oculus/HTC to immerse themselves into the already familiar world. I might actually cover that game next :D
Oh, damn! My friend just showed me Elite Dangerous just yesterday! It looks so amazing as far as space travel is concerned but also looks really tough and not for casuals. VR does sound next level though if you're a space junkie!
Took me about 1-2 hours to get used to the controls, went out "hunting" with my friend for a few hours and then you realize it isn't that hard. It's a grind game though, a really fun combat grind though!

That's a legit suggestion! I did do that in my early videos, but for the more action-based games with story lines, my talking would get in the way and distract the gameplay.
Minecraft is more passive and there isn't much audio to it, so it's a fair point. Will definitely consider for my future ones :)
I always imagine how will it be if the games like Fear, Left for dead, silent hill, the evil within, killing floor and all those horror/thriller games played in VR. It gave me goosebumps just imagining it. I don't think I can last long playing them hahaha
I played the Silent Hill VR on PS4 and it was the closest I got to shitting myself since I was a child. It’s a completely different thing to play it on screen, which is already scary and actually being there
