Is this exercise equipment...
Is this exercise equipment...
I pass this 'workout gear' often, what's the verdict on how useful it is?
- Only for old people
- Harder than 7 push-ups
- A weak excuse for a shitpost
- Who cares - look at the view!
Answer the question at dpoll.xyz.

WOW I think that's great . a walking/running path . exercise park on the beach. Just like being in California .
welcome to Steemit and the lower levels of posting. welcome 👍
I see there are plenty of seats at the table, thank you very much :D
yes there are, pull up a chair, and the sad part is that some try real hard to make good quality posts. hahahaha
Damn autovote. Cant believe i just voted for this shite 😉
😂
1 shitpost in 15 months and you show up!
Haha! Pretty sure I remember your last shit post ;)
But seriously... #shitpostmaster on that one
Back to the bear cave now
Impossible - doesn't exist :P
Well actually...
I was thinking more about something along these lines: https://steemit.com/funny/@abh12345/i-just-got-some-good-luck-for-the-weekend
And look at how much a shitpost was "worth" back then. Damn...times sure have changed.
Hey that post was REAL LIFE original bird shit content.
Worth about double todays price in $, but you get about the same STEEM :)
Did you try them, or were you afraid to look silly? I think these machines do use your body weight. It won't be a challenge if you lift, but it's actual exercise. I had fun playing with similar equipment in a park in Lisbon (on top of a steep hill).
Pull-up bars would be better, and I do see people using those. There aren't any in my neighborhood, so I improvise and use football goals to do chin-ups.
I have tried them in the past, I'm sure they are not set right as I can move my body weight 20/30/40 times, which surely isn't possible
I would much prefer some pull-up bars and rings (to fail on). Yours look even older than these, maybe the rust is helping :)
Yeah, I meant part of your bodyweight, not just moving air around.
I smell and see something shitty. You are starting to challenge some others on here now. Getting close but others are still worse than this. It is harder than it looks to constantly post shitty things.
Have you noticed most of the dpoll posts are for the shitty posts. If you can't think of a post to do and have no ideas there is always dpoll to fall back on.
It was a cheap fallback, even though I appreciate the work that has gone into creating the app.
Sorry Emre!
I think the app is great if you want to do a poll.
Aha! Yes it's my post.
So I'm not allowed to dpoll? 😝🤷🏼♂️
There ya go! Making great progress.
Thank you!
I would like to say that I learned from you, but @adetorrent showed the way 🙏🏼

I've seen stuff like that before and no one is ever using it. I wonder what genius thought up that idea and presented it to local governments as a health initiative because they must have at least a few pennies to rub together.
That's pretty much all you are doing - rubbing a few cogs together. If the machines were actually bodyweight then maybe they could be of some use, but they don't seem to work that way. Thanks for taking part!
No problem and yeah that's all the ones that I've seen are. I guess if you put springs or some sort of resistance on there so someone could pinch or hurt themselves.
Maybe when they rust up one day they'll actually provide some useful resistance so maybe someone can get an actual work out.
Excellent thinking, wait for the rust to arrive, or maybe chuck a load of sand on the chains. Nice!
Just add a little of that salt water into the bearings and chains everyday and shouldn't take long.
You could even get a little workout in sanding all the paint off to help speed up the process.
Workout everday walkdown to the beach and fill up to 1 gallon containers. Walk back to the quipment sand off some of the paint around exposed joint areas and chains. Slowly pour on water. Rinse and repeat the next day. By this time next year you may have some useful workout equipment.
Taking notes, next year I shall be buff!
Let me know next year if I should become a personal trainer and quit my day job.
haha :D
It's actually a job I would like, have you seen the salary though? Shocking unless you are telling the rich and famous to eat less pies.
What's with all the photos? A super terrible post should barely have one...
Come on, accept my shitpost!
NO!
It's way too interesting! I really want to give these machines a go...
You won't win Australian ninja training with these!
Alien command post. For... you know when.
Enjoy the view while you can

😂
For when the queues don't stop them
That is a very British sentiment :D

You got me, we love a good queue!
Funny though now I'm out of the country, watching how others do it. Yes there is a line of sorts, but pushing in is totally OK it seems. In the UK, this action is fighting talk!

No way!
Yea. I believe to go with hardee than 7 push-up
A set of dumbbells and resistance bands at home and your all set. There are tons of workouts you can do with dumbells the bands + things like pushups that require no equipment.
Today I filled up two large water bottles, those are my weights.
Those, push-ups, and the p90x ab ripper is my exercise right now - along with a bit of swimming and cycling when it gets warmer.
