Addiction is something that is very difficult to treat, because it requires the deepest self-awareness of someone who has experienced addiction.
Agreed. I often say there has to be enough pain in order to become ready to face the prospect of quitting... and a supportive crew of people who can relate.

Yes the pain is one of the most efficacious drugs to treat addiction, because with that they will be aware.👍
