A musical evening at the summer reading space in Lithuania

A little while ago I shared a post about photographing the opening of one of our summer outdoor reading spaces in a local park. If you missed it, you can find it here.

As I mentioned before, every summer many parks in Lithuania become home to small outdoor library reading spaces. They are wonderful places where people can borrow books, relax on bean bags, spend time with family, and enjoy various cultural events organized by local libraries. I really like this idea because it brings books outside of library buildings and into everyday life, making reading feel even more inviting during the warmer months.

This time I visited another opening event, this one taking place in Dainava Park. Although it followed the same idea, every event has its own atmosphere, and that's one of the reasons I enjoy bringing my camera along.

The main highlight of this opening was a live performance by a well-known Lithuanian singer. Her music leans toward jazz, and the entire performance felt very artistic. She wasn't simply standing on stage and singing. Every movement, every gesture, and every facial expression seemed carefully connected to the music, making the performance feel almost theatrical.
