Hello friends, I hope you are all well. For the fifth week of the Steemit Challenge contest, I will be sharing visit to Service zone. I would like to thank the organizers of this challenge, and without further delay, I am starting my participation.

What type of service location did you visit? Briefly describe it.

I visited a pond as my service location. This pond is right next to my house, and many of my childhood memories are associated with it. Everyone knows it as the pond of Islam Shaheb's house. Although the size of the pond is not very large, many people from a neighborhood use it every day.

About 10 families live around this pond. The housewives of the village side use the pond for washing their dishes, clothes, and other washing activities, which reduces the wastage of water. The people of the neighborhood also use this pond for washing, and many use the water for taking their baths.

This pond was dug about 25 years ago. Previously, it was a ditched area that was abandoned. When human habitations and houses increased around it, people needed water for their daily washing activities, so the previous ditch was dug to make this pond for people's use.

It is located in the Islam Shaheb Bari neighborhood of South Sitalpur village under Sitakunda police station in Chattogram. It is open to everyone, anyone can use it. However, on the village side, every area or house has a pond, as a result of which they do not need to go anywhere else leaving the pond of their own area, which is convenient for everyone.

Among the sea, river, and pond, I obviously like the beauty of the sea the most, which cannot be compared to anything else. Actually, every object of nature has its own unique beauty, but among them, the beauty of some things does not match with anything else, one of which is the ocean.

I like the sea more because it looks very vast, some parts of which we might be able to see with the naked eye, but the maximum part is mysterious and cannot be seen with the eyes. The sandy beach that develops on the shore of the sea makes the sea look even more beautiful, and it looks most beautiful when the sunset is visible.

Although this pond pinned by me is not large in size, it has the same size as most village ponds usually have. The pond has 4 banks, and various trees have grown on all the banks. The shadows of the trees fall completely on the water of the pond.

The water of the pond is not very clean, and the water of the pond varies from season to season. For example, in the winter season, the water of the pond dries up completely, and the leaves of the trees on the banks fall and ruin the water of the pond. Again, in the monsoon, it fills up with water, and the water remains clean.

Its water looks somewhat green from above; actually, the water is not green, it looks green like this because of the phytoplankton floating on the water. This water is not fit for drinking; it is used only for domestic purposes.

A pond is actually a very wonderful and useful thing because its water can be used repeatedly, and as the amount of water is high, the water does not change even after use. Because the same water can be used repeatedly, the wastage of water is less. It is not seen much in the city, but it is very common in villages.
