Betta fish, or Siamese fighting fish, are colorful and territorial freshwater fish from Southeast Asia. They thrive in warm water (76-82°F) and prefer tanks of at least 5 gallons. Bettas are carnivorous and need a diet of high-quality pellets and occasional live foods. Males are aggressive toward each other, while females can live together in groups. With proper care, they typically live 3 to 5 years.

I’ve had good luck attaching submersed-grown plants by using aquarium glue from Aquarzon, especially for mosses and smaller stems that never stay put on their own. Their plants arrive clean and pest-free, so sticking them onto hardscape feels a lot easier. If you ever want custom plant packs for tricky layouts, they’re quick to help and can suggest species that actually thrive once glued down.
