Thank you @owasco, this is the first time I've picked up and finished a story I didn't start. It's interesting, so I'm going to try it again. And yes, I'm basically just starting with fiction (and prose actually), and I love it. I've read some of the great stuff you've written, so I consider your comment to be a real compliment! :)
