They were checking into the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas. They were showing off their medals so they could get upgraded to a nice hotel room. Haha.
They were checking in next to me so I asked all kinds of questions and asked to wear the hardware.
haha! wow happymoneyman you're assertive! saw that and went for it and it turned out great, good job, very impressive. I'd been way to shy to do that.
Well, I figured since they were flashing their medal around so brazenly they probably wouldn't mind attracting fan. haha.
If they were trying to remain low profile, I definitely would have given them some space

yes, as I was getting turned down, they were right next to me getting the corner suite. Haha. I was asking for an upgrade also and being told nothing was available.
