Once the playing field changes and turns into a distribution of wealth that looks not so much like that of the international economy, just a little work on the culture to promote more of a gift economy as well as more community would be needed. So once we establish a little more equality in our abundance here, I don't think there would be any need for sacrifice.
I thought HF19 would do a lot to achieve that. I'm curious why @aggroed doesn't think so. You guys understand it much better than I do.
Well i'm not sure that i do at all from a mathematical position and who knows how our culture will evolve....lot of things going on. But ultimately, certainly for the present, the most important thing in my book it to enable everyone to learn how easy and pleasurable it is to reward someone something....or to give them money to do something you like. Best thing ever! I think you are right, the need for sacrifice will ebb once things have had a chance to bed in.
