Dear Maan, I understand what you are trying to say and achieve. Nevertheless... I think this kind of mention is bad style. Personally, I eventually ignore people who keep mentioning me. Why should someone with an overpowering stake and hundreds of mentions every day think differently? So I'm convinced that you're achieving the exact opposite of your original goal.

They would tag me in their flash quiz, with a note saying I could ask not to be mentioned in the future if I preferred.
I included an apology with the mention — not because they have a higher stake, but because it's the right thing to do.
