Hello my dear Steemians,

 

It is almost 10 days that the number of patients suffering from yellow fever was getting bigger and bigger. What was the reason for that? Often it is due to our, human carelessness. On the top of that this year it is really hot and humid. Somehow we have a lot of rain and there is a lot of waters in river, in local forest that is why there are a lot of mosquitoes. There are also some swamps and as everyone know mosquitoes love such area. This summer many kids love to play in forest, because there is no heat and a lot of shadows.

That is likely was the main reason for the large number of cases of yellow fever initial mosquitoes bite the kids who then go home and there they can get infected and later on the families can get infected too.

Dr. Brown has seen a lot these days and slowly it seems like he already “got used” to that. Despite of that every time there are some situations when he thought that nothing can be worse and nothing can make him more touched he was shocked again and again.

This time Dr. Brown was called in one of the apartments where the neighbours did not see the young mother and her baby for last couple of days that is why everyone was concerned.

When Dr Brown arrived they asked the owner of apartments to open up her flat. Once the door was opened and immediately it was a horrible smell so that Dr. Brown had a bad feeling. The flat was dark once the light fall into the room they saw something white on floor and something was moving there too. When looking closer they saw that young woman and there was her toddler crawling at her side, time to time touching her breast, maybe looking for milk. The woman unfortunately already was cold and dead, it was a miracle that the baby was alive.

Dr. Brown just made a sigh of relief, at least there is one live there. He just told his companion it is time to call the orphanage and tell them that there will be a new baby coming soon.
