Steemit challenge season 33 week:6 ||Zero cost crafting creation.|| Pencil holder or flowerpot.

Hello, friends of the #TheCreativePulse community. I hope you’re having a productive day full of blessings. While browsing #Steemit, I came across this creative community; I subscribed right away because I feel it’s a great way to showcase my crafting talent. I’ve decided to participate in Week 6 of Season 33 of the challenge, which focuses on a zero-cost crafting idea: “from trash to treasure.” In other words, it’s about repurposing materials before they end up in the trash—we can turn them into something else. You just have to let your creativity run wild. Using a plastic container labeled “half a kilo” and materials I had on hand, I achieved the goal—you can use it as an organizer or a plant pot. Thanks to @sualeha for organizing this wonderful contest. I’d also like to invite: @solperez, @genomil, and @zhanavic69. Without further ado, here’s the step-by-step guide.

✨MATERIALS✨
- Half-kilo plastic container.
- Egg carton.
- White glue.
- Scissors.
- Craft tape.
- Red cold-weather paint.
- Silicone.
- Sponge or paintbrush.
- Gold thread.

✨STEPS✨
- Before starting the craft project, wash the plastic container and let it dry. For this project, I’m going to use an egg carton. I’ll recycle this material as follows: tear or break the carton into irregular pieces, then soak them in water for a few minutes to soften the material. Meanwhile, mix white glue and a little water in a bowl. Drain the egg carton, then dip the pieces into the mixture of white glue and water and let them soak for a few minutes. Next, glue the pieces to the container until the entire surface is covered. Let it dry.

- Next, apply the adhesive to the container until the entire surface is covered. Let it dry. Then apply two coats of cold-weather paint using a sponge, and let it dry.

- I used the craft tape to make some braids, which I then glued down with silicone.
- Cut off the threads sticking out of the yarn ball.
- To add some sparkle, I wrapped gold thread around the container in an irregular pattern.
✨FINAL RESULT✨

- I liked this week's topic; I hope it comes up again, since recycling helps save the planet. Also, I'd like to give this little gift to a virtual friend, @sacra97 on Steemit, whom I've known since I first joined the platform. I'll sign off now 🖐️ and thank you all for stopping by.
