The dairy game: (16/06/2026) giving out water,helping my boss and a surprise publisher nomination.

Good evening everyone and welcome to another diary section @abdulsamadyusuf.

My day actually went with mixed feelings. I woke up by 6 AM and did my morning prayer. I was about going out to the farm when the weather changed. This is a season where one really needs to be conscious of the weather. We couldn’t go out, me and my dad had to stay back home until the weather cleared. Even when it cleared, time had already gone so we couldn’t go to the farm.

Later in the morning, I got a call from my boss. We had to take some wooden items to the site where they are constructing a door for the toilet and bathroom. We visited the carpenter shop to pick materials that were needed for the job. We didn’t meet him at home, so we only picked what he left for us. My boss will transfer the money for the wood later. We took it to the site, dropped it, then came back home. The carpenter will come later to construct the door.

After I rested a bit, I went to the borehole to give out water to the people as usual. A lot of people came and were happy to get water because not everyone has enough containers at home. Some only have one container, unlike houses with 3 or 5 drums. I was happy to help them.

Then I escorted a friend of mine to the farm to get something. When I came back I washed my farm clothes, then other dirty clothes, and spread them out.

Later in the night I went to the mosque for our night prayer. After the prayer I listened to some sermon from our Imam. That was how my day went.

But I’m not going to end it there. One thing that made me very happy today is that I was nominated as one of the Best Publishers. I’m very grateful to the team that nominated me, @alexanderpeace for nominating me. Thank you so much.
