The diary game:(12/06/2026)Day 6 at the new construction site (plastering and fixing the zincs)

Good evening Steemians. Welcome to my diary section Day 6 @abdulsamadyusuf.

Today at work we mixed mortar and plastered the sockaway pit while we waited for the carpenter to fix the zinc on the toilet and bathroom.We started the day by mixing the mortar for plaster work. We used cement and plaster sand. We went to get plaster sand because we needed it for the sockaway pit, after mixing, we started plastering the pit area. We took our time to do it well so the work will be strong and neat.

As we were about to finish the plaster work, the carpenter came to the site. We were waiting for him so we just slowed down our work so he can meet us. He came with all his materials: wood, packo, hammer and other tools needed. His job was to fix zinc on top of the toilet and bathroom. He worked carefully and fixed it well. With the zinc now fixed the rooms were now protected from rain.

The next thing we did was to plaster the walls inside both rooms. That is the toilet and the bathroom. We were able to do half plaster on one of the rooms, specifically the toilet. We plastered half of the wall and stopped there because time was already going. That was where we closed work for the day.

Thank you for sharing my day with me. Having handwork is the best thing because you don’t rely on monthly salary. When you work, you get paid immediately. My advice to everyone, make sure you have something doing. Don’t rely only on support from people or government because they can fail you. But your handwork will never fail you. See you guys tomorrow.
