The Diary Game: (04/05/2026) _ A Nostalgic Feeling That Made Me Visit My Former Place Of Work

Hello people, trust you all are doing well and good, it's chiamaka okoronta but I bear @chiamakag as my Steemit username. I got up today feeling lazy but still went ahead and did my normal chores which are washing of dirty plates and fetching of water because it's now a daily routine for me, so I just did everything, bath and went back inside. While staying inside I felt like visiting my former place of work which I worked as a teacher, since I've already taken my bath I dressed up and left the house. It didn't take long and I reached the school. at the school compound When I reached the school the pupils especially my former pupils were all glad to see me, same goes for the teachers, and principal of the school, they were all glad to see me in school and they welcomed me nicely.

I also assisted some teachers in the school by writing and also did other chores like arranging the pupil's chairs, keeping the classroom neat and tidy by sweeping and also helping the children out in the restroom.

Few minutes later the school closed for the day and parents started trooping in to pick up their children and wards, the parents don't come in instead they wait at the reception and wait until their children's names are being called out, then the caregiver in charge of taking care of the children will now bring our each child that is in their class, then take them out to their parents. It went on and on until finally all the children in the school left the school entirely. Although i worked at the primary school section which comprises mainly of toddlers and children within the age range of 1-10 years, so I also decided to visit the secondary school section before leaving, which I also did. I still went ahead saying my greetings to some staffs at the secondary school sections before finally leaving the school compound.

I reached my home and was feeling so happy and glad after visiting my former place of work, which I loved so much and soon enough I was feeling hungry and luckily I saw food at home, I dished for myself and ate it. That was how my day went today, Bye lovelies... Much love from me to you
