Hello my people, how is your area? Rain is overwhelmingly dominating the weather condition of Uyo. Are you ready to digest as I report how my day went? Yea! Let me break my report into three phases: morning, afternoon, and evening before bedtime.

As it is for now, I am still in charge of domestic duties and school runs over my son. I woke up early enough every day to get the boy ready before the school bus arrived.

For me, missing the bus means I have to take him to school. It was easy to boil yam because sauce was made and stored in the freezer. By 7am, we were ready, only waiting for the bus to honk “pim pim - pim pim”. It wasn't too long the horn was heard, and I quickly took him to join other children as they zoomed off.

I did a few things like washing dishes in the kitchen before I visited the laundry basket. Every day it rains and I have piled up dirty clothes. The rare sun shine makes it clear that any sign of the sun, one should wash clothes. I washed my clothes, but the sun was gone down to give way to the owner of this season “mr. rain” at 9:40 am I was done with the laundry.

I had an appointment with a primary school head teacher to discuss solemn assembly, printing of exercise books to the children, and other support we as a church who once used their facilities should do. I called on the church chairman @dedejur, who sacrificially suspended his engagement to ensure that we achieve this visit. We got a bottle of wine 🍷 to also appreciate the head teacher's effort in the school. Our meeting was fruitful. We took the number of pupils and classes we will start with.

It was a rainy day almost through, but say between the hours of 1pm to about 5pm. I stayed indoors and worked on some designs. One of them was celebrating a Steemian's birthday yesterday @nsisong2022. I guessed you all might have sent goodwill messages to her. I didn't do much more than what I stated above while the rain kept me inside the house.

Two major engagements: firstly, I had the privilege to host great Steemians @anydee01 and @dedejur. They had a good time with us and later left about 6:27pm, by then the rain had subsided. As I saw them off, I rushed to Ekpo Obot Street, Uyo, to pick up seminar files from a lecturer.

I came back, had my dinner, and went to bed after updating my steemit blog.
