The Diary Game: Party Setup, Kitchen Duties And A Scary Movie Night(30:04:2026

Hello Pookies, how are you doing? Today, a birthday celebration was held in our compound by one of our tenants in honour of his dad's birthday and it was the talk of the street. The young man really tried in celebrating his dad in such a luxurious way, the set up and decoration started early in the morning and the event was to kickstart by 5pm but they wanted to be sure that everything was set before the event time so as they were decorating and setting up the venue, I took a picture to gist you all about it.

When I finished taking pictures, I did my chores and went to my mom's shop to get food items to make breakfast. Luckily, it was just my mom and I at home, dad had travelled outside the state with my brother for a job. I knew I can take all the time I need to make the breakfast because mom would definitely snack on something in the shop while I on the other hand don't really eat much in the morning so I wasn't hungry yet but I still made efforts to prepare the meal real quick so I could take it to my mom in case she still wants to eat something solid.

The beans took a long time to become soft and while it was cooking, I got other ingredients ready so I won't have to rush over getting my ingredients ready when it's time to put them in the pot. The food was ready atlas and I scooped mom's own and mine and headed to the shop and I even stayed till 5pm in the shop with my mom before going home to filter the fufu we're processing. That was a whole job in its own but I shaa rounded up with it before mom returned from work.

My mom took longer them usual to return from her business place end I was so worried about her and wished I had airtime in my phone to call her but I believed that she'd be back soon. And just as I wrapped up with the work I had at hand and took my bath, she returned and even helped me out in tying the fufu and pressing it with a big stone. We went to the parlour to see movie after dinner and some minutes into the movie, Nepa ceased the light. I was scared to sleep in my room alone because of the movie we watched so I begged mom to allow me sleep in her room with her and she agreed. Before going to bed, I thought of my steemit family, that's the reason I had to drop my blog first before going to bed. Thanks Pookies, byyyyeeee.
