Hello besties, it's your girl kemkem1, I'm here to share my daily activities with you all.I woke up early today knowing that it was going to be a busy and stressful day because I had a lot of work to do on the farm. We had plenty of cassava ready for harvest, and we needed to bring it home so that we could process it into garri. Because of this, everyone prepared early and got ready for the work ahead. We left for the farm in the morning and started harvesting the cassava. There was a lot to harvest, although it was not as much as the last time we went to the farm. We spent the early part of the morning digging up the cassava and gathering it together. The work was tiring, but we continued until we had harvested all the cassava we could manage that morning. After finishing the harvest, we carried the cassava home. We made several trips to transport everything because there was a large quantity to move. Once we got home, we arranged the cassava and began cutting off the unnecessary parts. After that, we started peeling the cassava. Peeling took a lot of time and effort because there was so much of it. We worked carefully to make sure everything was properly peeled and ready for the next stage of processing. Our plan was to arrange everything neatly and take it for grinding once we were done. While preparing the cassava for washing, we discovered a small problem. The water from the tap outside was flowing back toward the area where we had peeled the cassava. This made the place messy and could have affected our work. Because of this, we had to stop for a while and sweep the area. We cleared away all the cassava peels and cleaned the surroundings properly before continuing. After cleaning up, we washed the cassava and got everything ready for grinding. When we finally arrived at the grinding site, we were thankful because we got there early. Other customers also came to grind their cassava, and before long the place became busy. Thankfully, we were among the first people to arrive, so our turn came quickly. The grinding process went smoothly, and we were able to finish all our work without much delay. After everything was completed, we packed up and headed home. Although the day was stressful and involved a lot of hard work, I was happy that we accomplished our goal and successfully processed the cassava for garri production

After we finished at the grinding site, I returned home feeling very tired from the day's work. The harvesting, peeling, washing, and grinding of the cassava had taken a lot of energy, and everyone in the house was exhausted. Even though I was tired too, I knew there were still some things that needed to be done. Since I was the eldest around at that moment, I decided to take responsibility and make sure there would be food for everyone to eat. When I got home, I first freshened up by taking a good bath and cleaning myself properly. After that, I washed and rinsed the clothes I had used while working on the farm because they were dirty from the day's activities. I arranged everything neatly and allowed the clothes to dry. Once I was done, I got dressed and prepared to go to the market. Before leaving, I loosened my hair, packed it neatly, and made sure I looked presentable. My main reason for going to the market was to buy some fish that I could use to prepare a simple soup for the family. Everyone had worked hard throughout the day, and I felt that a good meal would help us regain some of our strength. Although I would have preferred to rest, I knew that getting food ready was important. I took some money and headed to the market. When I arrived, I checked the prices of different types of fish. Unfortunately, the cost of fish was a little high. However, we had no choice because we needed something nutritious to add to our meal. Fish would provide the protein we needed after such a stressful day of farm work. After buying the fish, I returned home, ready to prepare a simple but satisfying soup that everyone could enjoy and use to recover their strength.

After buying the fish from the market, I returned home and discovered that everyone had rested for a while after the stressful activities of the day. The harvesting, peeling, washing, and grinding of the cassava had taken a lot of energy from all of us. However, there was still work to do because we needed to prepare a meal for the family. Since I wanted us to eat something good and regain our strength, I called my siblings and told them it was time to start preparing the soup. They all came out and were willing to help. We started by bringing water to wash the fish properly. The fish had a strong smell because it had been preserved with ice, so we rinsed it thoroughly to remove the fishy odor. After washing it well, we cut the fish into smaller pieces and seasoned it with spices and seasoning cubes. While I handled some of the cooking preparations, my siblings helped by slicing the okra and getting other ingredients ready. Everyone had a role to play, and together we worked as a team. As the cooking continued, we added the fish, okra, seasoning, and other ingredients into the pot. Before long, the aroma of the soup began to spread throughout the house. The smell was so inviting that everyone became excited. My siblings kept commenting on how delicious the soup smelled and could not wait for it to be ready. Their excitement made the cooking process even more enjoyable. When the soup was finally ready, it looked very appealing and tasted even better than we expected. We served the food into plates and gathered together to eat. Everyone enjoyed the meal and appreciated the effort that had gone into preparing it. The soup was rich, delicious, and satisfying. After eating, we felt refreshed and happy. We spent some time relaxing together, chatting, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere after a long and productive day.

After we finished eating our breakfast, none of us ate again for the rest of the day. The work we had done on the farm and the processing of the cassava had left everyone tired, so we spent some time resting and recovering our strength. We knew that we still had some preparations to make for the following day, so we decided to focus on getting a few things ready. Later in the evening, we began preparing for the next day and attending to some family responsibilities. Everyone contributed in one way or another, and we spent time organizing what needed to be done. We also interacted with family members and checked around the compound to ensure that everything was fine. It was a calm and peaceful time after the busy activities of the morning. As the evening went on, we completed all the tasks we had planned. By around six o’clock, we had finished everything that needed our attention. We were happy that the day had been productive and that we had accomplished the important work we set out to do. Afterward, we went back inside the house to freshen up once again. When it was time for dinner, we served the soup that we had prepared earlier. Everyone gathered together and enjoyed the meal. The food tasted very good, and it was satisfying after a day filled with hard work. We spent some time talking and enjoying one another’s company while eating. It was a pleasant moment that brought a sense of joy and togetherness to the family. After dinner, we gathered together for our evening prayers. We thanked God for His protection, strength, and guidance throughout the day. We were grateful for the successful harvest, the food we had eaten, and the opportunity to spend time together as a family. After praying, everyone prepared for bed, and before long, we all fell asleep, grateful for a productive and blessed day
