THE DIARY GAME (20/06/2026) THE VALUE OF SKILL: why what you can do matters more than what you have

Lemme tell you how I learned this the hard way.

Few years ago my mom didn't have money for my JAMB, no university, no admission letter just "wake up and hustle"
I really felt behind like life had passed me.
But one faithful morning she woke me up and told me to go learn something that it would help
me in the nearest future,
I took the advice and later ended up in an auto workshop, watching and learning how a man can revive a dead car engine, while the owners of the vehicles paid and left happily.
Gradually I learnt that KNOWLEDGE=MONEY

I didn't went for classes but I went to workshop.
I learned different car codes
I learnt how to revive dead engines, replace bad parts and other things about cars.
Gradually people stopped asking which school did you go to?
Rather they started asking bro please can scan my car for me?"

Skill gave me a name
Skill gave me money
Skill brought me respect

• Skills feeds you daily- when money is tight, your skills can come to your rescue.
• Skill can't be stolen- nobody or anything can hack what u know.
• Skill builds freedom- you don't really have to seek for a job.
• Skills grows with you- every engine that I revive and codes that I crack, they makes me valuable.

You still don't have to rate yourself so high because of a particular skill you posses, because they are still many levels to reach.
If you are waiting for money, waiting for school, feeling discouraged or disappointed,waiting for the right time...
You have to hasten up and learn a skill now.
They are many skills u can learn such as,

• Welding, furnitures
• Auto diagnostics, coding
• Baking
  Anything that u wishes to learn.
  Because the world doesn't pay you for your certificate, sometimes they do but mainly they pays you because of the PROBLEMS you can solve.

Chase skills first, certificate will follow, because skill will feed you when certificate is late.
