This place is called Gouripur Sluice Gate. It is located on the Punarbhava River. It is located in Dinajpur city. It is located 5 kilometers northwest of Dinajpur city. You can go there by any auto rickshaw from the big field of Dinajpur city. It will take only 20-25 minutes to go there from Dinajpur Zero Point. This is one of the travel places in Dinajpur.

There are several reasons why this place is important to me. First, many families come here to visit and they watch the waves of the river. At the same time, many people fish here and earn their livelihood and the strong water flow, flower gardens on the banks of the river and the beautiful scenery along with the favorite food all make this place a joy. In addition, there is an opportunity to go through a pillar and take pictures in the middle of the river. All this together makes it very important for me to visit this place and the weather of this place is so beautiful that sitting here for some time makes my mind feel good.

There are many services here, one of which is traveling by boat. I did not take this service because the current in the river was high. However, I went a long way with the help of a pillar. Due to the excessive wind, I could not stand there and take pictures. However, my elder brother stood there and took pictures and I uploaded his pictures. However, I would have liked it much better if I could travel on this river by boat.

While visiting the place, I found the fishermen here to be the most interesting and curious. They are catching fish by throwing nets by hand in the strong current and they are throwing this net from about 30 to 40 feet above. Also, I found the fact that many middle-aged boys and young boys are building dams in the river and setting nets to catch small fish the most interesting.

The Indian border is just one kilometer away from this place and it can be said to be a big bridge between Bangladesh and India. Through this, water is circulated and the speed of the water can be increased or decreased. My elder brother took me here because the food here is very popular and everyone goes here to take pictures. Since I will post on steemit, that is why he mainly took me to visit this place. I went here to travel on my bike and sat in the flower garden on the bank of the river for some time.

Based on my story and the life journey of the community, I would suggest visitors to visit this place. Here, you can see the stories of people's lives while standing. A group of fishermen, without fearing for their lives, fish in the difficult currents and sell the fish to earn a living. This view can only be seen from standing here. Due to the strong waves in the river, you can sit here and fish in the river and enjoy the beautiful breeze on the river bank. It is also a good place to talk to your loved ones.

The place provides access to other communities through the road and water. The river might be so big, and I hope it is well protected to prevent flooding. At first, I thought the people standing on the bridge were trying to push the bridge.
