The Diary game: 17th July 2026: such a cozy rainy day, was actually beaten and soaked by the rain on my way returning home from the market.

Hey, besties! 💕 Welcome back to another diary of my day and another episode of all my daily adventures. It’s your girl, Naomi, here again. I hope you’re all doing great because I’m doing just fine.

So, today was actually a rainy day. It rained almost all day long, and honestly, it almost ruined all the plans I had for the day. The weather was so cold, and as a lonely girl living alone, days like this make the loneliness feel even more real. There’s no company, nobody to chat with, and nothing much to do. All you’re left doing is lying in bed, wrapping yourself up in your blanket, scrolling through your phone, and before you know it, you’ve fallen asleep.

The rain made it really difficult for me to wake up early. When I eventually got out of bed, I said my morning prayers, headed straight to the restroom to ease myself, brushed my teeth, and then… I climbed right back into bed. 😂 It was just too cold to do anything else.

Not long after, I started feeling hungry. Cold weather always makes me crave something warm, so I walked into the kitchen. Of course, the kitchen was a little messy, so before making breakfast, I tidied everything up and finished my morning chores.

For breakfast, I had my usual bread and tea. Honestly, I felt like it was the perfect meal for such cold weather. The warm tea made me feel much better and kept me warm for a while.

After breakfast, I went back to bed because I was waiting for the rain to reduce. I had planned to go to the market early because there were a few things I really needed to buy, but the rain completely delayed my plans.

By afternoon, the rain had reduced a little, so I quickly got dressed and headed to the market.

Now, the market I went to is a very big one, with different sections for different items. The particular place I wanted to visit was somewhere I’d never been before. Normally, whenever I go there, I only visit one familiar spot, buy what I need, and head home. But this time was different.

I spent so much time asking people for directions because I had no idea where I was going. I walked around the market so much that I became tired. Thankfully, after all the searching and asking around, I finally found the place and bought everything I came for.

I was honestly so relieved.

Unfortunately, on my way home, the rain started again, and this time it didn’t spare me at all. 😭 I was completely soaked before I got home.

The first thing I did when I got back was change out of my wet clothes, take a warm shower, and put on something dry and comfortable.

By then, I was absolutely starving. Luckily, I already had some stew at home, so I simply boiled a little white spaghetti to eat with it. Honestly, I’m so grateful I had leftover stew because if I had to cook an entirely new meal from scratch after all the stress from the market and getting drenched in the rain, I don’t think I would have had the energy.

After eating my lunch, I unpacked everything I bought from the market and arranged them neatly where they belonged. I was really happy that despite the rain and all the stress, I still managed to get everything I went there for.

Once I finished arranging everything, I went back to bed to rest. I was completely exhausted from walking around the market and getting caught in the rain. I ended up taking a long nap.

By the time I woke up, it was already evening. I felt a little hungry again, so I simply warmed up the remaining spaghetti I had earlier and ate it for dinner.

After dinner, I drank some water, took another quick shower to freshen up, and then went back to bed to call it a day.

So, that’s how my day went. The rain really disrupted almost everything I had planned, and it dealt with me seriously because I got completely soaked. 😂 I’m just hoping I don’t end up falling sick because of it. For now, I’m feeling okay, although the weather is still very cold.
