The Diary Game: A Beautiful Sunday of Worship, Cooking and Preparation for a New Week [ 02-08-2026 ]

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all doing great and enjoying the blessings that each new day brings. Welcome to a new episode of my dairy session @somnma. I am happy to share how I spent my Sunday. It was a peaceful and fulfilling day, and I am grateful to God for giving me the strength to accomplish everything I planned.

I started my day by saying my morning prayers and thanking God for the gift of life. After praying, I began my house chores. I swept my room, arranged my bed neatly, and cleaned the other rooms in the house. I enjoy keeping my environment clean and organized.

After finishing my chores, I brushed my mouth. I decided to prepare spaghetti for breakfast. I brought out the spaghetti we had at home and broke it into small pieces because that is how I like to cook it. I washed the cooking pot, poured clean water into it, placed it on the fire, and waited for the water to boil. Once it started boiling, I added the spaghetti and allowed it to cook.

While the spaghetti was parboiling, I went to our garden to pluck some fresh scent leaves. I enjoy adding a little scent leaf to my spaghetti because it gives it a wonderful aroma and taste. When I returned, I took some of the leaves, washed it thoroughly and sliced them into tiny pieces. After that, I prepared the other ingredients, cut the tomatoes and onions and pounding my pepper with a little salt. I brought down the spaghetti from fire, sieved out the water and rinsed it. I place the pot on fire, added some vegetables oil, heat it up a little, then went in with onions, stirred it gently. I went ahead added the fresh tomatoes I chopped earlier, stirred it again then covered the pot to let it simmer a bit. Later on, I added other ingredients, then water, combined everything carefully, added the cooked spaghetti, and allowed it to simmer for a some minutes. When it was cooked, I brought down the pot from fire and sprinkled the scent leave on top and covered the pot. The aroma was so inviting, I dished it onto a plate and enjoyed every bite.

After breakfast, I boiled water for my bath while I brought out my church clothes. I got ready, dressed neatly, and before leaving the house, I said another prayer, asking God to guide and protect me throughout the day. I even took a quick selfie before heading to church.

When I arrived at church, I happily joined the praise and worship session. Singing and praising God lifted my spirit and filled my heart with joy. The sermon was inspiring, and I learned valuable lessons that encouraged me to trust God more and live a better Christian life. I left the church feeling thankful and motivated.

When I got back home, I felt tired and decided to rest. I slept for quite a long time, and honestly, it was exactly what my body needed. When I woke up, I remembered that a new week was about to begin, so I brought out everything I would need for Monday and arranged them neatly to avoid rushing the next morning.

Later in the evening, I discovered that our cooking gas had finished. Since there was no gas station open at the time it finished, I had to use firewood to warm the ogbono soup and fufu we already had at home. Although it took a little extra effort, I was happy that I was still able to enjoy a delicious dinner.

After eating, I relaxed by watching a movie for a while. Before calling it a day, I checked my Steemit account to see my notifications then I check up on other people's post too. I was happy to stay updated, and it motivated me to keep writing and improving my content.

Overall, it was a beautiful Sunday filled with productivity, worship, rest, and gratitude. I thank God for His goodness and for seeing me through the day successfully. As I prepare for the new week, I pray that it will be filled with success, peace, good health, and many wonderful opportunities.

Conclusion

Thank you so much for reading my diary. I appreciate your time, and I wish you all a blessed and productive week ahead.
