Let humanity, not arrogance, be our identity.

How are you all? I hope that by the grace of Almighty Allah, you are all very well and healthy. Today, a thought suddenly popped into the corner of my mind, I thought I would share it with you. In our daily lives, we walk, come back and talk to hundreds of people. But have you ever thought that in our subconscious, we often judge people by their appearance or ability?

The main topic of today's discussion is - "Never underestimate anyone. Always remember one thing, a pen worth 5 taka is used to write a check worth 5 crore taka."

Although the saying seems very easy to hear, there is an extreme truth of life hidden inside it. Many times, we respect people by looking at their expensive cars, houses or positions. But we do not value the man sweeping the street or a simple peon in the office in the same way. But just think, if one day that cleaner does not work, how polluted will our surroundings become? Think about that pen worth 5 taka. There may be many expensive pens in the market, some gold-plated ones. But when it is necessary to sign a check of 5 crores, the function of that pen is the main thing. The price of the pen is not a big issue there; rather, its function is the real thing.

Human life is the same. The Creator did not send anyone to this world for no reason or unnecessarily. Everyone has their own place, their own importance. You may be in a very high position today, but in your time of trouble, your low-class neighbor next to you may be the first to come forward. Just as it takes expensive engineers to build big buildings, it is not possible for that building to stand without ordinary masons who shed blood.

Despising someone actually reveals our own mental poverty. Arrogance causes a person to fall. The one you think is small today may, in the course of time, reach such heights that even your imagination cannot reach. But time is not equal for everyone. The king today may become a fakir tomorrow. So learn to judge people by their humanity, not by the money in their pockets or the color of their skin.

There is a saying in our society that small grains of sand, drops of water, build a continent and an ocean. Similarly, small people keep the wheels of society and the state moving. If a farmer did not grow crops in the sun-burned field, the expensive dishes on your dining table would not come. So respect people of every profession. To despise someone means to insult his creator.

Finally, I will only say this, let us change our perspective. Let us learn to respect people as human beings. Remember, expensive diamonds are found in dark mines. Similarly, many talented and useful people are very common around us. Do not neglect them. If you give love and respect, it will come back to you doubled.

May everyone be well and healthy. And yes, from today, try to respect the so-called 'small' people around you at least once with a smile. You will see that your mind will feel much lighter.

Thank you all.
