After breakfast, I stepped out to the market to get one important ingredient every Nigerian kitchen respects and it is dry pepper. The market atmosphere was alive as usual: people bargaining, traders calling customers, and the smell of spices filling the air.I stopped by an Aboki seller with a wheelbarrow full of fresh dry pepper, already packaged and ready for sale. From blended pepper to dried varieties, everything was there. One thing about market runs in Nigeria you will always come back with stories, not just groceries.Moments like this remind me how rich our local lifestyle and culture truly are.
