The Diary Game: An Ordinary Day With Unexpected Blessings(23-04-2026)

Hello @purpleidy23 lovers, trust you good? I had a great day and I feel excited to be sharing it with you all. I woke up with a heavy heart this morning but I'm glad the day ended up being my best day so far this week. It's my turn to sweep the compound and I had set an alarm so I'd wake up by 5am and do the sweeping before movement starts and immediately my alarm rang, I got up and went out to do my task. It was few minutes past six in the morning when I finished sweeping, I washed my face and hands and went to fetch water to refill my drum as it was almost empty. I fetched the first rubber and when I went for the second one, I noticed the tap wasn't running anymore so I left with my empty rubber, returned home and made a list for the meal I planned on preparing for breakfast.

After making the list, I went out to a shop close to my house to buy the items but most of the things I had on my list were not available so she asked me to check back by 9:30am as they will be available by then. I left and went back home and on getting home, I told my roommate about it and she asked me to check other places but I refused because I had already given the woman my word that I'll be back to buy from her but I also picked something from what my roommate said which made I asked more questions to get clarity on the topic, she described it so well that I was a be to grab without getting to the place she directed me to. I left the house again to a spot where goat meat is sold and luckily, I located the place with my roommate's direction, bought a portion worth thousand naira and returned home.

When I got home, I put the meat in a bowl and climbed bed to surf the internet and before I knew, it was time to check back if the items has been made available just as I as told so I went back to the shop and truly, the daughter had returned and the food items were now available. I bought them and returned home, I started preparing my soup. I stepped outside to wash plates and a man who's erecting a building close to my compound greeted me and began to ask some questions and I responded to him and he jokingly asked if the meal I was preparing will be enough for him and his workers and I told him it will so he said I should notify him when it's ready so he could buy fufu for us.

I informed him when the soup was ready and he asked what drink I'd love to take so I mentioned malt and he gave me money to buy it, I was surprised but I didn't leave immediately, I reminded him of the fufu he wanted to buy but he said it would be later when they were done with work so I thanked him and left. I went to the bathroom and took my bath, came out and ate before reading my textbook. Before I read, I logged in my exam portal and reprinted my slip and my exam date and other informations were dropped and that gingered me to read so I started immediately without wasting time.

I was only able to ready about six or seven pages before sleep came and I paused and had my nap, it got sweeter when rain fell and I enjoyed my nap so much that I didn't want to wake up but I had no choice than to wake up when my roommate informed me that it was 5pm so I got up and prepared for church. I returned from church and bought some snacks for dinner as I didn't have the appetite to take soup for dinner.
