The Diary Game // 26th May 2026 // Going to the village on the holiday of sacrifice
Dear friends, I hope you all are doing well. I am also Alhamdulillah, by the endless mercy of Allah, doing very well. Today I want to share with you about the day when I set out to go home on a holiday. Very early in the morning, my sister and I woke up from sleep. We were going to our village home.
It had been quite some time since I last went home, almost after Eid-ul-Fitr of Ramadan, so today I am going home. Now it is the Eid-ul-Adha holiday, and I was going home. I felt very happy about going home during the Eid-ul-Adha holiday. After passing through the traffic area in the city, we entered the village area with a very beautiful, lush field.
We were walking along the road, then we got into a CNG and enjoyed the clear beauty of the village from inside the CNG. Walking along the road, it felt really nice to see the beauty of the village and the crops beside the road. Especially for those who come to the village from the city, this is the feeling at this moment. However, after a while, we returned home.
At home, we met with mom and dad and they were very happy. Because we, the two siblings, live together in the same city, going together created a very beautiful moment. After arriving home, we saw that the mango tree in our yard had started bearing mangoes. We ate those mangoes, and they looked very beautiful and ripe.
I really enjoyed eating the mangoes because the mangoes from our tree are completely natural; no kind of medicine or chemicals are used here, they grow naturally. This is a result of physical wellness for us; there are no medicines or chemicals here. We ate a lot of mangoes, and after eating, we took a bath.
Then, after finishing lunch, we rested for a while and spent the day like that until the afternoon. In the evening, I went to the village market a little, though I had no intention of shopping, but I went there for a purpose. I am going to make a silver ring; I already made one, but I’m going to get a stone for some repairs. After that, I made a choice from here.
A while ago, I had bought a silver ring, which was just for a small amount of silver, you could say 3 annas. But with so little silver, my ring turned out soft, meaning it became bendable and flimsy. So I thought about adding a bit more silver and crafting it nicely with a stone. So I went to a familiar silver shopkeeper and placed an order there.
After spending some time there, I walked back home in the evening. When I got home, I saw the environment was really nice, and what I liked most was that everyone was busy with cooking work. The best part was when I went inside, I saw someone was making a curry. I saw that my little nephew was chopping things.
I was just amazed because he was very happy to find his grandmother and experience the village atmosphere. He is only seven years old, and coming to the village and finding his grandmother, he completely forgot about us. So, he is helping his grandmother with her work and cutting vegetables. And he is doing it very nicely. Anyway, we ended the day like this, finishing dinner in the evening. Everyone stay well, Allah Hafiz.
