Introduction:

Friends I hope you are all well. First of all I would like to thank the organizer for organizing this unique and creative challenge. This week's topic is "Rewrite a Movie Ending". Which turned out to be very interesting for me. Usually when we watch a movie. We get emotionally attached to its characters. Sometimes we are happy with their happiness. And sometimes their sorrows make us sad. But sometimes the ending of the movie is contrary to our expectations. Due to which the thought definitely comes to our heart. That if the ending of the story had been a little different. Then perhaps the impact of the movie would have been even deeper. This is the beauty of this challenge that we are given the opportunity. To present the ending of a movie in a new way. Through our thinking imagination and creativity. I have chosen the movie Sanam Teri Kasam for this challenge. Because it is one of those movies that has impressed me a lot. But its ending always makes my heart sad. Today I will explain why I did not like the original ending of this film. How I would have ended it if I were its writer. And why I think the ending I wrote would have been more fitting for the story.

◉Pick a movie with an ending you don't like?◉

I have chosen the movie Sanam Teri Kasam for this challenge. Because it is as beautiful emotional and heart touching as its story is. Its ending is equally painful and sad. This movie tells the love story of Saroo and Inder. Saroo is a simple innocent and innocent girl. Who is often ignored because of her appearance. While Inder is a young man. Who has gone through many bitter experiences in his life. Circumstances bring the two closer to each other. And over time trust respect and then true love are born between them.

I found the most beautiful thing about this movie is. That shows love not only in a romantic way. But through sacrifice, loyalty and sincerity. Inder supports Saroo in every difficult time. While Saroo also brings happiness and hope back into Inder's life. The love between these two makes us realize that a true relationship. Is not only based on beauty or wealth. But also on purity of heart and selflessness for each other.

But the ending of the movie has always been disappointing for me. When both the characters are able to live a happy life. With each other after countless difficulties misunderstandings and trials. Then suddenly Saroo's illness changes the course of the entire story. Andar tries his best to save her. But in the end Saroo leaves this world. This scene certainly made the film very emotional. But I always felt that both the characters did not endure. So much pain just to be separated in the end. I think the ending of a love film should give a message of hope life. And new beginnings. If Saroo had been alive and both of them had started their new life journey together. The effect of the film would have been much more beautiful and encouraging. That is why even today when I remember this film. My heart tells me that its ending should have been something different.

◉Rewrite the ending in your own terms?◉

If the ending of this film were in my hands. I would have written an ending that would not only give peace to the heart. But also leave a message of hope while maintaining its original story and emotions. The story would have continued almost to the point. Where Saroo's health suddenly deteriorates. And the doctor tells Inder that his condition is very critical. Inder breaks down after hearing this news. But instead of giving up. He decides to do everything possible. He contacts the best doctors in the city. Goes to different hospitals. And knocks on every door to find a way to save Saroo's life.

Meanwhile an expert doctor suggests a treatment for Saroo's illness. That has very little hope of success. But Inder agrees to this treatment without any hesitation. He boosts Saroo's spirits and assures her that together. They will definitely overcome this difficult time. The treatment continues for several days. And every moment feels like a battle between hope and despair. Finally the moment comes when the doctors smile. And give Andar the good news that the treatment has been successful. And Saroo is now out of danger. Hearing this news tears of joy come to Andar's eyes. After some time Saroo recovers completely. Both of them start their new life. And this time there is more love trust and gratitude in their relationship than ever before.

In the last scene of the film both of them are standing on a beautiful hilltop watching the sunset. Saroo smiles and says to Andar that "True love not only changes a person. But also gives him a new reason to live life." Andar holds her hand tightly and both of them move forward with beautiful dreams of the future.

In my opinion such an ending does not diminish the emotions of the film. But shows that no matter how big the difficulties are. If love is true. Hope is alive. And a person does not give up. Then life definitely gives a chance for a new beginning.

◉Explain why you think your own ending fits in better?◉

I think the new ending I wrote is more. Appropriate balanced and hopeful than the original ending. I am not saying that the original ending was wrong. Because every writer has the right to complete his story. According to his own thinking. The fact is that the original ending of Sanam Teri Kasam was very emotional. And that is why this film is still alive in the hearts of people. But as a viewer I always felt that Saroo and Inder sacrificed. So much to achieve their love in the end. They should have got happiness not eternal separation.

In my new ending both the characters start a new life after all their trials. Thus the film is not just a love story. But also gives a message of hope courage and love for life. I think when a film makes a person cry. And also gives him a reason to smile at the end. Its impact remains in the heart for a long time.

Another reason is that in the original film. Inder has to live a lonely life after losing his true love. This scene was certainly very painful. But it left an incompleteness in the hearts of the viewers. The inner struggle and Saroo’s courage bring color to the story I wrote. Which gives the message that difficult times are not always permanent. And sometimes miracles also become a reality.

In addition my ending connects the three together family love and hope. Saroo’s recovery becomes a symbol of victory over all the difficulties. That both of them faced throughout the film. This ending creates the feeling that if a person does not leave the side of their loved ones. And keeps trying till the last moment. Even the impossible can be possible.

Finally although the original ending is very effective. And memorable in its place. In my opinion a love that has faced every trial must receive a beautiful reward in life. That is why I think that the ending. I wrote does more justice to the emotions. Message and journey of the characters of this film. This ending not only gives joy. Nut also conveys a message of hope patience loyalty. And the success of true love. And that is the feeling I would like to carry in my heart after the film ends.
