The topic I selected today and will discuss is floods.Flood is actually the name of a condition in which too much water covers the ground.there are many factors behind like Rain causes rivers and canals to overflow, dams to fill up,Temperature that is going to rise,snow melting.All of these factors combine to cause flooding.

Excessive heavy rainfall also becomes a major source of flooding.Rainwater slowly begins to drain into the rivers and canals.Then, when this water slowly starts to build up in the rivers and canals, the water flow begins.

Increasing temperature is also a major factor in floods. When the temperature increases, the snow starts melting slowly and this water reaches small rivers and streams from the mountains, thus raising the water level in the rivers and streams.

Due to heavy rainfall, water gradually starts accumulating in the dam, then there comes a time when there is so much water that it starts flowing outwards and sometimes it happens that the dam breaks.

Then there comes a time when this water starts moving towards the ground and gradually, not only the crops are destroyed, but many other disasters also occur.If the soil absorbs too much water, it becomes useless and no longer viable, and the crops that are already growing are ruined by the pressure and drown in water.And sometimes it happens that it takes several months and that place is no longer capable of growing crops.The farmer has to face the most of all these problems and has to face many difficulties.The country's economy collapses suddenly, especially those countries that depend entirely on agriculture.An example of a flood would be the flood in Pakistan in the year 2010, especially in Sahih and Punjab, which was heavily affected and water remained in various areas for several months.

Floods, where crop damage is one of the reasons, are accompanied by many other things that prove harmful. When the water rises rapidly, not only do houses get submerged, people become homeless, they become hungry, and food and drink problems begin. When the crops are destroyed, where will people eat? The source of their livelihood stops, and livestock die.And cows, buffaloes, and goats die by drowning in the water.The entire transport system is destroyed and vehicles start sinking in water.Thousands, if not millions, are lost.The power system is disrupted.

Strong dams should be built and embankments should be built in them.
Proper management should be taken for cleaning of rivers and canals, especially small rivers and canals.
High alert should be issued before floods
Because in all developed countries, a high alert is issued before a flood so that the devastation of the upcoming flood can be avoided and as much work can be done on it as possible.
There are different types of rescue teams that play a role in helping the flood victims. They need more training and education at government level.
The boat should be arranged so that people can be moved from one place to another.Need help immediately.Then, by going somewhere, we will be able to escape the devastation of the floods to some extent.
