Interesting. If it gets warmer my candles bend and fold or melt as well, but they are not made out of wax. I doubt wax candles are still for sale (way too expensive, the cheap ones already are). I assume the reason yours melted this way is due to how it was processed. It seems that end of the candle wasn’t attached to the wick.

What about the drawing underneath the candle?

By the way it is the second time I hear about rechargeable light bulbs. I noticed everything we recharge is easily broke. My camping led light on batteries does a way better and linger job and so do the lights if bikes unlike all flashlights (those of the phone are an exception).
In average I stumble around in the dark.

It is good to hear they announce when there won't be any power. Is this during the day or night?
