Hooray, you’ve drawn me – you’re better than me. All I can say is that drawing fur is an incredible task that you can’t do in two hours. First, you need to create an undercoat in the colour patterns, which you then blend in the direction of the fur. After that, you have to draw the individual hairs. Oh well, you know that better than I do.
I think the eyes and mouth in the sketch are brilliant. You’ve created a really fierce-looking cat. It’s great that you gave it a go. I’m also getting impatient after all these years of drawing. What do you think would make drawing a cat’s profile easier?
