Story Summary

A man named Kabir goes on a vacation with his family when a mysterious stranger named Banraj arrives there. With a little help, he enters the house and takes Kabir's daughter under his control through black magic. Seeing his daughter obeying someone else's orders before his eyes and a desperate struggle to snatch her from that hellish situation is the name of Shaitaan.

Analysis

The screenplay and making of Shaitaan is excellent. I personally liked R. Madhavan's performance very much, the way he played the character of a black magician seemed quite great and realistic. The tension that has been created at every step will put pressure on your nerves. Although it is a bit slow in the beginning, it takes such a turn in a moment that it is impossible not to finish. The game of psychological dominance and emotional blackmailing shown in this movie is, in a word, extraordinary.

The movie Shaitaan shows us how powerful primitive instincts and evil forces can be even under the cover of modern civilization.
