The May contest #1 by sduttaskitchen: Soul select soulmates!

I am @elsa-queen. I hope you are all well and enjoying your life. I happened to come here after a long time. So I thought I would ask you all about the current trick and also try something new. This time I have participated in May Contest #1: Soul Select Soulmates, which is a very interesting and unique topic. This contest gave me an opportunity to reflect on the concept of spiritual relationships and true companionship.

In my view "soul mate" is not just a relationship but a bond that binds both heart and soul. It is the person who understands you, feels your feelings and stands by you in every difficult time. I am deeply grateful ma'am @sduttaskitchen for such a beautiful contest. Such activities not only keep us busy but also give us an opportunity to express our thoughts and learn something new.

Do you believe the term "Soul select soulmates"? Your viewpoint!

To be honest yes… I do believe that but in my own way.

For me soulmate is not a movie thing where you just meet someone one day and everything automatically becomes perfect. Rather, I think a soulmate is someone who accepts you the way you are, understands your silence, and doesn't leave you in difficult times.
Sometimes meeting certain people brings a strange comfort to the heart, as if they seem like you for no reason. I think maybe that's what people call a soulmate.

But I also believe that relationships don't just happen by luck, they have to be nurtured. If there is no effort on both sides, everything is lost, even if it is a soulmate.

To me "Soul choose soulmates" means that some relationships are special, close to the heart... But it is up to us to make them strong.

Please provide insights into the factors contributing to the breakdown of relationships.

I think relationships don't break all at once. They end slowly. Everything seems fine at first, but then little things start to take hold.

The main reason is that people stop talking. They do not speak what is in the heart, and then misunderstandings multiply by themselves.

The second thing is about trust. Once trust is broken, things are never the same. If there is doubt in the heart, it gradually creates distance.

Then respect is also very important. When respect for each other starts to disappear, the way of talking changes, the relationship also weakens.

Another truth is that people stop trying. In the beginning, everyone makes an effort, but later it seems that everything will go on by itself... but it doesn't.

And sometimes we set expectations too high. We want others to understand us all the time, but this is not always possible.

In the end, I'll just say, a relationship only works if both people want to handle it. Otherwise everything gradually fades away.

What are the fundamental principles that both parties must uphold to sustain a long-term relationship?

I think a relationship is not just about saying "I love you". It is about the everyday little things.
The most important thing is trust. When trust is broken. The relationship is never the same. That is why it is so important to tell the truth and trust each other.

The second thing is communication. What is in the heart should be spoken. When we keep things in our hearts, the problems increase.
Then respect… it matters a lot. If there is no respect, love also begins to fade away.

Another thing people ignore is effort. In the beginning, everyone pays attention, but later it seems that everything will be fine by itself, but it doesn't.

And most importantly, patience. Every human being is not perfect, so we have to understand and tolerate each other.

In the end I will just say this, a relationship works only when both people really want to make it work, otherwise one alone can't do anything.
