Incredible India Monthly Contest of May#1: Significance of Dedication, Discipline and Determination!

How do you look at these three heavy words that shine really like a gold in our daily life which is — Dedication, Discipline and Determination (D3)? Let's just see ....

However if you can hold these three words very tight, it's like you carrying a key that can open door to success. Dedication is when you put your heart inside what you are doing. Discipline is when you can control yourself even when temptation is sweet.

Determination is when you don't agree to give up even if the problem is heavy. If you glance it well, you will see that D3 is like three soldiers which guard your destiny. Without them, dream can just be like kite which breeze blow anyhow.

However I can say that, D3 plays a very big role in human life. Let me just break it down:

• Dedication do make a person to focus. It's dedication that makes a student to read book even when he or she is tired. It's dedication that make mechanic to learn work till he knows very well.

• Discipline do act like brake in a car. If you don't have discipline, you can waste money, follow bad friends, eat anyhow. Discipline do help you to hold your body, and guide you so that you won't fall for temptation.

• Determination can give you a stubborn spirit to continue. It's determination that make hawkers to work from morning till night, even when their legs pain them. Its determination that make footballer to play till last whistle even if score is against him.

Together, D3 do act like tripod stand which balance a camera. If one leg breaks, the camera can fall. Same way, if one of the D3 miss, life can scatter.

Yes, I believe that. D3 do give us target like a compass which can point direction. However let just say life is like a football match:

• Dedication is when you train everyday.

• Discipline is when you follow the coach instruction.

• Determination is when you play till last whistle even if the score is against you.

Put these three together, you can score a goal. Without them, you can even be walking in the roundabout without reaching your destination.

My viewpoint is that D3 is the real fuel which powers human engine. D3 do makes poor man to turn rich, makes a dropout to turn a graduate, makes a small business turn to a big company. It's D3 that separate serious hustler from lazy dreamer. If can carry dedication, discipline and determination like daily bread, you will surely eat success.
