A degree is more significant because everyone wants to acquire one due to the importance of acquiring a degree. All wealthy and successful people in our society, especially politicians, always want their children to acquire a degree because a degree rules over skills.

Skills are better for making money, having something to do, and for those who want to be independent and be a boss on their own. A degree is more significant because it takes years to acquire a degree, and a degree teaches us a lot of things that skills can't teach. A degree trains us to be independent, manage resources, and lead.

Skills: skills influence our lifestyle by making us have something to do, which teach practically what we need to be doing to have money, and with skills one can become independent without relying on the government or a big multinational company to employ him or her.

Degree: A degree influences our lifestyle by increasing our confidence in life; it uplifts us and gives us an equal level to compete with the rich. It influence our lifestyle by making us leaders even where someone with skills is found.

Skills are for short-term goals, mostly for those who don't have the finances to acquire a degree, while a degree is for long-term goals for those who want to work in a corporate organisation and have seen a future of what they want in life. A degree takes time to mature due to competition.

For fast money making it is skills that help, while for long term goal it is a degree that sustains life in the long term. However, both are good and sustain life, which all depends on one's grace and lifestyle to be able to manage resources.
