The July Contest #2 by @sduttaskitchen: Overcoming the Fear of Failure
We all have experienced this word "Failure", at one point of our life. Failure is non-selective, it doesn't matter your class, somehow, in the journey of life you had experienced it. What makes people different is how they react to failure. Sometime in my life, I made peace with the fact that failure is not the end, rather it's something we can learn from if only we open up to it.

My answer would be yes.....my own perspective, is that the highest thing that affects people is not the failure itself rather it is the way at which react when they encounter failure. One thing failure does is that it affects the emotions and confidence of a person. Some people fail at a certain stage of life, doubt follows, and negative thoughts of not believing in themselves sets in. When we encounter failure, giving up shouldn't be an option rather let's see failure as a learning process not the end.
We can do better for ourselves if we can learn, adapt, become wiser & stronger and we would achieve success on a long run.
Like in the oil and gas industry, one common challenge we face most times is equipment failure. Sometimes, in my rig we might experience TDS malfunction, shaker issues, or even mud pump breakdown during critical operations. These issues tend to slow down drilling operations and pose serious safety risk.

When we experience such equipment failures, the crew don't sit back and relax or give up on the operation rather a repair can be done, a replacement can take place, maintenance procedures and we're back like nothing happened.
This lesson should be an eye opener for someone out there that failure shouldn't be the end, see it as a challenge that can be managed in other to get to your desired result. Remember, life will throw failures on your way but your reaction towards it will determine if you make it through.

YES.....Failure is something that can happen anywhere and at anytime, it doesn't have to be indoors or outdoors.
Like in marriages, education or chasing personal goals,people may encounter failure. I know of a friend who's always bad in building a relationship but that doesn't stop him from always trying again. These are some examples of indoor failures.
Meanwhile, people also encounter failures in their businesses, place of employment, political careers and others. This part reminds me of another friend who started a small scale business but failed to managed the business properly and it collapsed in no time. It discouraged her but didn't stop her from starting all over from the scratch but this time she has learned from her failures.
No matter where you encounter failure, the emotions it brings shouldn't make you discouraged but see it as an opportunity to learn from our failures and come back stronger.

We can overcome failure by;
To achieve this we must acknowledge the fact that failure is part of life, so don't give up on yourself if you encounter failure in life rather let's learn from it instead of letting them reoccur.
By setting realistic goals we can manage failure. Surround your yourself with positive minded people, don't compare your life with others, stay consistent, and importantly don't let failure define your progress in life.
Failure is an important part towards success not just an end point. Do not give up on yourself.
