Hey dear Steem fashion and style community members. @elsa-queen is here back. I am here with a heart full of gratitude and positivity steemit besties. I hope you are doing well. Today I am happy to share something special with you all.
In this challenge we were ask to prepare a dish from another culture. So I decided to make India’s famous Chicken Biryani. It is a wonderful and enjoyable experience for me. This dish is incredibly delightful. Every bite is full of taste. It give me a beautiful connection to Indian cuisine. I would like to sincerely thank my respected ma’am @alexanderpeace for this amazing challenge. It gives us a great opportunity to learn new things and appreciate different cultures. I hope you all enjoy my sharing. It brings a little joy to your day.

Step 1 !
To begin the recipe. I first took a clean bowl. I added the chicken. I had already washed thoroughly. After that I mixed in some yogurt along with freshly added garlic paste. I making sure everything was nicely combined. So the chicken could absorb all the flavors well.
Step 2 !
After that I added all the spices to the chicken red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and some red chili flakes. I add to give it a nice kick. Then I mixed in the browned onions. Along with that I add the tomatoes which I had already chopped earlier. Everything started coming together really nicely at this stage.
Then I mixed everything really well until all the ingredients were nicely combined and coated with the spices. After doing that the chicken was fully marinated. It is ready for the next step.
Step 3 !
After that I placed a pan on the stove. I added a little olive oil along with some ghee. When the oil heated up. I added garam masala. I let it cook for about 1 to 2 minutes. When a rich, aromatic fragrance started to rise. I added the marinated chicken into the pan.
Step 4 !
Then I mixed the chicken well with the masala. I let it fry for about 2 to 3 minutes. While frying an amazing aroma started to fill the kitchen. After that I added around one and a half cups of water. I give it a good stir. Then covered the pan. I letting it cook for a while until the chicken became tender and flavorful.
Step 5 !
While the chicken was cooking. I placed another pan on the stove. In it I added some ghee along with a little garam masala. I let it heat up for a moment. Then I poured in plenty of water around two jugs. I added salt as well. I preparing it for the next step.
Step 6 !
Then I let the water come to a boil. When it started boiling properly. I added the soaked rice. I had already washed the rice thoroughly. I soaked it for about half an hour. So it was ready to go into the boiling water.
Step 7 !
When the rice started cooking. It began to soften nicely. I checked it along the way. The salt level was just right. When the rice was almost fully cooked. Still slightly firm with just a little bite left. I drained the water. At this stage the rice perfectly prepared. It is ready for the next step.
Step 8 !
By this time the chicken is fully cook and done nicely. The spices just right according to my taste. Then I started adding the boiled rice over the chicken. I spreading it evenly. After layering the rice. I covered the pan and let it cook on dum for about 10 minutes. So all the flavors could blend together beautifully.
After 10 minutes the rice was perfectly done. The Indian chicken biryani was ready. I serve in a plate. It look delicious and full of flavor.

When the Mughal emperors brought with them the traditions of Central Asian and Persian cuisine. The combination of these traditions and local Indian flavors give birth to biryani. It includes the combination of rice, meat and aromatic spices. The dish become popular in different regions of India. Each region has its own style. That is why there is many unique varieties of biryani today.
Culturally biryani is not just a food. But a symbol of happiness, hospitality and traditions. In Indian society it is specially made on special occasion. It is a food that brings people together. It is a means of sharing happiness.
According to lifestyle Biryani reflects how much people value the taste, aroma and the presentation of food. The ingredients used in it represent a rich meal.
Historically Biryani is an example of a beautiful combination of different cultures. The Mughal, Persian and local Indian influences combine to give it a special place. For this reason today biryani is popular not only in India but all over the world. It is considered as an important cultural heritage.

If we compare the Indian Chicken Biryani with the Pakistani Chicken Biryani of our culture. There are obvious similarities and significant differences between the two.
First of all, when it comes to similarities, the basic ingredients of both the dishes are almost the same, like rice, chicken and aromatic spices. Both are cooked on the dum. So that all the flavors are well absorbed. In addition in both countries biryani is given special importance in special occasions such as weddings, festivals and feasts, reflecting that it is not only a food but also a symbol of culture and hospitality.
In contrast, Indian Biryani generally has a more aromatic and balanced flavor in terms of spices. While Pakistani Biryani is comparatively sharper and spicier. Potatoes are often added to Pakistani biryani. It gives it a unique identity. While Indian biryani uses little or no potato. Moreover Indian Biryani is characterized by aromas and mild spices. While Pakistani Biryani has a stronger and deeper taste of chillies.
In conclusion it can be said that both biryanis are unique and delicious in their own way.

The fun of eating biryani is different. And when I see this fun being cooked in front of my eyes, my tongue automatically starts watering. Today, after seeing your delicious recipe, I really wanted to eat it. My hunger doubled at night. Thank you very much for making the recipe.
