Mindful followers will get heaven's release always. We spend some weeks to look at completeness series to make you receive the entire package This topic is divided into two sections:

1. Mindful followers: who are they? A mindful follower is one who tenaciously stays with God in all programme, problems and prospects. 2nd Kings 2:1-13, Elisha ignored all odds and followed Elijah persistently for a certain target he wanted to meet. Even when the option for him to tarry came from the man of God Elijah, he maintained his ground of following him.

A mindful follower blows hot in all situations come rain come shine. Jesus carried out a simple acid test for some seeming followers and they failed. For example, in Luke 9.57-62, someone said, Master I will follow thee but the conditions of service are tough.

2. Characteristics of mindful follower 1. They don't give in to distractions, (second Kings 2:3,5,7), the sons of prophets at Bethel, Jericho, Jordan could distract Elisha. 2. They tenaciously hold or stick firmly to that singular purpose of pleasing God (Second Kings 2.2,4,6). On three good attempts by Elijah to discourage Elisha from following him, he passed the entire test. 3. They are goal oriented (2nd Kings 29), the goal of possessing the double portion of the spirit of Elijah kept him on. 4. They follow what makes for righteousness such as listed below: a.Let us follow after the things. Which make for peace and things wherewith one may edify another(Romans14.19) b.They follow after charity(1st Corinthians 14.1-7).
