Review:
Is this an animal market, or a place where animals are sacrificed without eating them? In Nigeria, we call such a place a slaughterhouse or butcher house where people can go and buy meat.
Thank you @josepha my friend for the review and excellent score. To clarify your question, in our area, there are slaughterhouses or meat shops in the regular market. However, it was a livestock market (only focused on festivals); only animals were sold here. Basically, according to Islam, those who can sacrifice animals for the pleasure of Allah. They buy animals from here and slaughter them in their designated area on Eid and sacrifice them. The meat of the sacrifice can be eaten by them as well as distributed among relatives and the poor. 😊
