Assalamu Alaikum. Greetings Sri Lankan community. I hope by the grace of Allah, you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am also doing well. I would like to share a short story with you and it contains some hints of travel.

My sister, my brother-in-law and my two nephews from my village came to visit our city home. Mainly to overcome financial problems, I and my family have been living in Gazipur city for a long time.

Due to living in Gazipur city, people from the village go to the city at different times. Exactly the same situation happened in my family. My elder sister, brother-in-law and my two nephews from my village home went to the city for a visit. Since they were going to visit, I decided to take them on a short bridge trip in the afternoon.

Basically, there is a beautiful place in Islampur in Gazipur city. It is possible to travel very easily by keeping all the noise of the city away. Most of the people in the city work in garments and there are various employees. On weekends, every employee decides to travel to that small bridge in Islampur and travels.

Right on weekends, we also went to that bridge in Islampur and decided to travel there. When we went there, we saw many visitors and their activities impressed me quite a bit. Most of the employees came for travel. The employees are traveling and they have come to enjoy nature in the afternoon.

I stood there for a while. Then I saw several trawlers. There are a lot of people in the trawlers.

Basically, they work tirelessly on weekdays. And then when they get one day off in the week, everyone goes out for a trip.

In the afternoon, many people are traveling by boat to visit that bridge in Islampur. Along with boat trips, people are traveling by trawlers and they are having a lot of fun. I was quite impressed and very happy to see this joyful moment of ours.

There was a lot of water around that small bridge. There were various types of trawlers in the water, including small boats and big boats. This wonderful scene fascinated me and I was very happy.

We all had a lot of fun going to a place together. We went to a resort built on a river in an empty place. We liked it a lot after going there and we ate our local chatti.

Then we traveled there for some more time. Especially the water flowed across a huge area. People were traveling there in boats and many were taking selfies.

We finished our light breakfast and saw the surroundings. Then I took pictures of my two nieces and kept it as a memory.

Finally we went to a flower shop and bought flowers for my elder sister and niece. Then we rented an auto rickshaw and left for home.
