SLC32-W2 ||The Real Video Vlogging Adventure Challenge.
I think this has to be my first vlog at a park where nature stands tall. It was the most therapeutic experience ever. Everything in this place was just so unexpected like a mystery. You can barely use the trees here for horror movies. The weather was clement and that's what made the vlog enjoyable for me because I could feel the lawns giving out its water to the atmosphere and the breeze was just so natural. So what got my attention or attracted me in this park?.
During your video vlogging experience, what attracted you the most in the park and why? |
|---|
What attracted me most in this park was a tall, big and ravenous tree with lots of root-like stems. The complexity is this tree is one that I've never seen before in my entire search journey. I never knew trees like this still exist. That was just the back view, hiding its front piece of from me until I later discovered that it has an entrance. Have you seen a tree with a entrance before? It's just like those in the fairytale movies I do watch or dark magic.
Curious and still scared, I decided to go in. Do you know what I just thought of now? Imagine I went in and looked at the right hand of the entrance and behold! a monster comes out and screams. I'll just drop dead 😁. I entered out of curiosity but was very cautious with snacks from the top and beneath. I took pictures with the first tree to ever have an entrance that's 6 feet tall. I was amazed. If this kind of tree is here at the park, that means there are more creepy things yet to be discovered.

Another thing that attracted me is the tallest tree in this place. It doesn't have fat stumps or stems like other trees, but it extends high into the sky. This leaves me with the question. Could this be the iroko tree or the iroko tree is taller than this?Only the trees attracted me most to this place.
Did you notice any interesting, funny, or unexpected moment while recording your vlog? Describe it briefly. |
|---|
Let's talk about the interesting moments because I noticed only 2 of them. First is the scene of flies hovering around a spoilt mango fruit. You know flies are one hell of an insect that won't wait for you to lay your hands on it without flying away. But you see this set, you can kill as much flies as possible with your hands because in this state, they are just focused on what they'll benefit and not what you'll benefit. They are less concerned if they die or not because their minds are redirected to this spoilt fruit.
Why is this interesting? It's interesting because every person, animal and living thing have a weakness, including fruit flies like this. They run away from predators on normal circumstances, but when there's a stumbling block, they care less.
Another interesting moment is mower doing his job. Have you seen how this park is big? You can't even see the end of it, but yet, these lawns are trimmed and made beautiful with a machine that trims it very well, bringing out the brilliant green colour from it. The driver who was trimming the lawns did so with passion, not minding the length of the lawn.
Every week I visit this place, it's always trimmed beautifully, including places that aren't in use. This is what we call maintenance. If humans were to be taken care of the way this lawns are, a lot of people won't live in poverty and stress 😁. My thoughts though.
The funny and unexpected moment is observing an Agama lizard look intensely at the fruit flies hovering around the spoilt fruit but could not leap on them because I was staring at it. That was crazy. He was like...."This is a lot of food for me, but what if I leap to my benefit and get myself killed by the predator at the far end". I was reading his mind. All of a sudden, the lizard abandoned the flies which would have been good meet for it and ran for its life.

He went as far as climbing this tall tree with an entrance because I was getting closer and closer and he wasn't comfortable with my being around. Running was the best option at the moment. It was just so funny. The unexpected moment was when I decided to hop in on a boat for the first time. I'm usually scared of water, but this time, I wasn't. I don't know where my fear went.
How did the natural environment, visitors, and overall atmosphere of the park make your vlog more enjoyable? |
|---|
The natural environment added colour to my video. It made me feel the calm and tender breeze that comes from this green place. At some point, I took out some time and did meditation for a while because the air was breathtaking. I could feel a new life, a paradise kind of life here. It made me want to touch and discover more places in this green forest. I was the only tourist trekking.

Other visitors used the electric motor to make their movement because they could afford trek. The atmosphere was giving especially that river which I was drove on. Everything was just colourful to my vlog because of the greenery.
Which area or attraction of the park would you recommend others to visit, and what makes it special? |
|---|
Everywhere in the park is an attraction site, but the best attraction of this park is the mountainous region or hills. It's the best play you can game if you're a fun person. This place is a wonder and I should even put it as one of the 7 wonders of the world. 😁 Because I've never seen a place so beautiful like this with lots of hills you can run from, up and down and the greenery for me. I bet, this place will give you chills.

The amazing videos and photography you have shared inside and outside the Ibom Marina resort park are truly admirable. The huge trees and the gaps between the trees are truly amazing. Also, this park is truly amazing amidst such vast greenery. It looks like a verdant green oasis. All the best to you.

Wow, what a beautiful and natural place you have visited. I heard that Akwa Ibom State is a very beautiful state to be in, but the problem is that the cost of living is high. Honestly, the person who captured you needs to be rewarded as she or she is a good photographer and your phone camera is very good and you have explored a lot and you also took risks entering the bushes and river. It was as if the lizards and flies were just waiting for you to snap them. Wishing you good luck sir.
Your vlog adventure sounds exciting and full of memorable experiences. I especially liked how you turned everyday moments into an engaging adventure. The adventure, challenges, and moments you captured made the post feel authentic and natural. Your really good at what you do.
