The diary game||31/05/2026|| Faithful Gatherings, Shared Meals, and Truthful Lessons

Life is really full of moments that surely brings joy, lessons and happy heart. Truly my day was one of those special days where I experienced happiness through Christian meeting, enjoyed good food with friends, and later learned valuable lessons from a movie. Let me share how it all unfolded from morning to evening.

I truly woke up this morning with a clear happy heart, knowing what the day holds. Without a second thought, I got up from bed, put things in place. I went out to buy things to prepare my breakfast I I bought bread, noodles and eggs.

I later assisted in cooking perewingle and cow skin porridge. The perewingle was washed thoroughly and padded to the cow skin to be cooked. Ingredients was added to the pot the aroma alone can make someone to be hungry and eager to eat.

With no time, my day began. I ate my breakfast which was tea and bread with boiled egg, then I later prepared, and got dressed up for the meeting ahead. I prepared for our Christian meeting which holds exactly at 10:00 a.m.

You can imagine the feelings one has to see friends, brothers, and sisters in different locations coming together that faithful day to share one thing in common — attending Christian meeting to study about our Creator Jehovah, the giver of life, who gave his only begotten son for our sake.

Finally i arrived there before 10:00 a.m that was around past 9 am. As usual, the meeting started with song and prayer and ended with song and prayer. We shared pleasantries with happy minds.

However after that our lovely and interesting Christian meeting in the afternoon, I left out with other Christian brothers and sisters to invite people to the upcoming Regional Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses coming up next month. People were really happy to receive the invite and promised to come to the convention.

As usual, we love sitting together to eat our meal. So we took some rest and left to a brother’s compound to share our lunch.We sat down, engaged in different discussions and jokes, and we ate and drank too.

We ate afang soup and fufu, one of the favorite meals in Nigeria.👇🏻

It was really an enjoyable moment for us. We ate and were satisfied. After some hours of enjoyment, we greeted each other and left for our various homes. Arriving home, I took some sleep.

Waking up, it was already evening. I took my phone, entered my social Media apps and finally I stopped at YouTube app, and behold I saw a movie called Bag of Lies. With the picture appearance of the movie, it draws my attention to watched it.

However the movie really shows what happens when lies become a lifestyle of some people.

Bag of Lies is really a funny Nollywood comedy that will makes you to laugh and forget your worries. It tells the story of two neighbours that turn their everyday living into a battlefield and fight.

So from this thier constant quarrels to clever deception, these two people will just be lieing about anything just to survive and outsmart each other with tricks. So no matter how hard they try to just stay apart, life wil keeps forcing their paths to cross again and again just to join them together.

As the lies keep piling up, the consequences become impossible to ignore and to bear.

Will they keep living in this deception… or will the truth finally catch up with them?*
