Hello steemians

How are y'all all doing, I also hope you all are having a splendid day as well.... greetings to the moderator of this contest as well as the participants, well what a nice contest this is cause I'm gonna soil it with my art and so on.

Well today I would be sharing a drawing of my friend whom
Celebrated her birthday last week Friday which was the first day of the month......so I got some gifts for her and also drew a sketch of her also, though I would have to to frame the art as well if things would have worked out the way I expected though..

MATERIALS

Pencil
Eraser
Sharpener
Paper.

PROCEDURE

STEP1:

First I started by drawing her eye which had the oval shape then I drew another circle inside it to make the full eye ball...then from the side of the eye I drew a little curved line, then I shaded her eye brow using my pencil....then I drew the nose making a tiny curved line to represent the side of the nose, then I drew the nostrils after which I drew a faint line from the nose upwards to the eye, then I drew the other eye as well as the eye brow, which I drew her mouth which consisted of the top and lower lips......then I drew a curved shape from the eye downwards to make the chin and then upwards again to make the forehead, then from there I drew her hair which laid on the eyebrow, then I continued drawing till I drew her ear and the earring she wore and the small part of her neck as well.

STEP2:

Then I continue my drawing by drawing the collar of the cloth she wore(both side of the collar)as well as the to the tie, then I drew the shoulder of the cloth with it folded design on both sides....then I drew the pocket half way, then I continue drawing the spes on her cloth then I was done with the drawing part now the coloring part was fast approaching.

STEP3:

After all was done I began to color the sketch with my pencil, blue color pencil and black color pencil for light dark spots which would make the image look realistic as the original tho and few minutes I was done with the peice of art.

Though I don't have the colors to make it look as nice as the original though...

Well I'm grateful for this platform for allowing me to share part of what makes me happy ....
