Good morning. I woke up very early today because many guests had come at night, so today I had to wake up early. I woke up at exactly five o'clock. I freshened myself up and offered the Fajr prayer. After praying, I went to a little distance from home to feel the peace and tranquility of my heart. There are flowering trees nearby. I went to smell them and see them. I like greenery and their fragrance very much. The weather was quite cool, there were clouds. the wind was blowing and I feel very good. As soon as my eyes open, I start a new day. thanking Allah Almighty for giving me thousands of blessings.Imagine that I am going for a morning walk. There is such a beautiful tree with pink flowers on it. A friend of mine lives here. These are her trees. If you sit near these flowers. their fragrance is so good, so fragrant that a person cannot get up from this place. Because this place is very beautiful. that is why I come here every day for morning walks.

After returning from the morning walk. I made breakfast for the guests with my mother and also had breakfast myself. Today I had to make many dishes for breakfast, so it was very late. Today's breakfast was done at about 8:40 am because it takes a lot of time to make many dishes. I prepared bean or potato meat curry, milk almonds and tandoori rotis for the guests. I kept some fruits with the guests. All the guests had breakfast well. They liked the breakfast very much. My aunt has come from Lahore. She is a blessing from Allah. so she should never be sent without eating. That's why I arranged so much food for the guests. I also had breakfast later. I just ate beans and fruits. The food was really very good. The guests praised Maryam a lot. I ate the breakfast prepared by you after a long time. It was delicious.

After serving breakfast to the guests, I used the computer for a while. I bought a new computer. My mother said, "Mary, use it. It's not bad. It happens many times that new things turn out bad. I changed the settings of the computer with my mother. I brought the computer into a good mood. I mean. I change all the settings. etc. in my own way. Today, I am very happy. I have bought a new computer. I am running it with my own hands. I hope that I will take a computer course in the future to apply for a job because I have been fired once or twice and I did not have a computer course. So now I have bought a computer."

At 10:30 am. I saw my cousin's wedding dress. In a wedding. a girl gets clothes shoes. makeup etc. from her in-laws. She has to lay them on a bed or something and show them to the guests. This is a tradition in Pakistan. The dresses given by her in-laws are such nice suits. such cute bangles. such cute shoes. May Allah bless my cousin to wear all these things. Today is her wedding. Today she got 15 pairs from her in-laws. There are four different designers. different colors🥰 there was makeup equipment and a big gold set. And I am going to enjoy it and shake my neck today because all the guests will be together. My aunts and all my cousins will come. The wedding ceremony has started now. The first ritual is to show the clothes. shoes. makeup jewelry. etc. given by her in-laws to the guests. Along with these clothes. there were other items. I also saw that. There was a big bag. two sets of rugs. pillows etc. mattresses etc. for sleeping. There was a big box and two rings to keep all my cousin's dowry items. What a lovely rustic village atmosphere there is in all this stuff. How is the wedding celebrated in the village? Today in this post. I will show you the big steel pots in which my cousin will cook food after the wedding. Such lovely stuff.

In the afternoon, my aunt said. "Maryam you have to decorate the bride's room. I had already ordered all the materials from the market to decorate it. I asked my second cousin to decorate the room. I put a lot of garlands and small flower garlands and decorated the room in a design. As you can see. how did you guys like my decoration? This is the first time I have decorated the bride's room. That bride is also my cousin. so I decorated it myself. I put white and yellow garlands to decorate the room. This color combination looks really good. I haven't put a new bed sheet on the bed yet. so it should be even better. The room is still under renovation.

After that. I was very hungry. so I told my aunt that my aunt's daughter is getting married, so please order something from outside. I am hungry. I am a little tired after going to the room. They ordered a bottle of lemon and cardamom from outside and I felt a little lighter after eating a lot. Today is a happy atmosphere, a happy day. Everyone is laughing and smiling around. At 2:45 A m. my aunt got the groom ready. The people dressed the groom in a white suit, garlanded him and started the Islamic rituals. All the relatives gave the groom a lot of Islamic gifts and greeted him. This ritual is very interesting to see how these rituals are done in marriages in Pakistan. Abdullah Sahib looks very cute and very happy. Perhaps he is very happy. the glow on his face tells it all. My aunt gave the groom a thousand rupees as Islamic gifts.

And then one of my aunts gave her future son-in-law five thousand rupee notes to give as an Islamic gift. My younger aunt was watching all the guests from a small wall. Oh, how cute they look. The groom's face is so bright and so full of smiles. You can guess how happy this person is. All that is required for this marriage is for the person to agree. Sometimes people do this, they enter into a relationship without any permission. Two people establish a relationship by just compromising with each other. Their disapproval doesn't make sense. But here. the groom's brothers are very happy. It seems that they are getting married according to their choice. The Islamic rituals have also been performed very well and now they are preparing for the wedding.

This wedding is being held in a very simple and easy way because not much is being spent on it. Many people do this by investing a lot of money just to show people off and forget about their own time. They spend more than their own time on the wedding. This wedding ceremony was completed in a single day. Not much was spent. That's what I liked about them. They did the Walima and Baraat in a single day. They also paid all the expenses in a single day. They also invited all the guests on the same day when the bride will leave and go to another house. This means that it is a very small event. It is a very grand event. In our Sharia. a simple marriage is permissible, but people invest a lot of money and get married to show people off. Today's modern era has come and they have forgotten the old customs. I live in a village. I will show you all these rituals. how marriage is done in a village and I have seen all these rituals very well. This is the first time I have seen such a ritual that a marriage is done in a simple way.

The mehndi was done last night. so I thought I would share some pictures of the mehndi with you guys. First of all. I applied mehndi to the bride. I prepared the bride myself. I made my cousin wear a mehndi suit and also wore a mehndi shawl made of flowers. which I had ordered in advance. The lights went out. Without any lights. all the guests applied mehndi to the bride. Then with the drums. the people danced and had a great time. The DJ brought music from the house and an uncle even fired gunshots to increase the atmosphere of happiness. The mehndi ceremony is really special because people sing songs. play music. women sing songs from their village and celebrate with emotion because it is the day of farewell to their daughter. For a girl. this journey is very difficult for her to go from her parents' house to another house because she has to leave her parents.

In the dark night. there was the beat of the drum. the sound of the baaja. and a shower of money and beautiful shirli were played on the groom. A man with a drum made a circle of fire and played the drum in the middle of the fire. All the guests were amazed. How expert they are in playing the drum and baaj etc. They had a lot of fun. Today I wore a light mehndi colored dress for the wedding and the baraat.
