Steem Heights My Climb to Altitude 48

Today I played Steem Heights game and honestly it was very interesting experience for me. When I opened this game I thought it will be very easy. Just jump on blocks and go up. But when I actually start play I realized it is not that simple. It needs good timing, focus and little patience.

In start I was trying to understand how this game works. The blocks were coming from below and I had to land on them at right moment and place. If I miss a little my character would fall and game would end. In my first few tries I lost very quickly. But I did not feel bad, because I knew I was still learning. After some try I start getting control of this game. I understood timing better. My movements became smoother and I started climbing higher. Game became more interesting for me. Every successful jump gave me small happiness. It felt like I am improving step by step.

One thing I noticed is that this game is not about speed only. It is also about staying calm. If I rush I make mistakes. When I started playing with patience my performance improve. I was focusing on each jump carefully and trying not to panic. During my gameplay I managed to make 5 combos. That part felt really good. Making combos is not easy because I need to land perfectly again and again without missing. When I saw the combo count increasing I felt more confident. It gave me motivation to continue and do better.

Slowly I reached total altitude of 48. At that moment I felt really satisfied. It was not a very big score maybe, but for me it was a good achievement. I also got +10m bonus which made the result even better. When the “Climb Ended” screen appeared I looked at my score for few seconds and smiled. This game looks simple but it is actually challenging. We need focus in every second. One small mistake and everything is over. It teaches us patience and control. I really like this thing about this game.

One more good thing is that this game is very addictive. After one round I want to press “Try Again” and play more. It give us feeling that we can do better next time. That is why it keep us engaged.
I really enjoyed playing Steem Heights. It was fun challenging and also a good way to refresh my mind. I forgot about everything else while playing. It was just me and the game.
