My DIY Clay Art: Minion Swimming

Peace be upon you friends!

Today I am sharing with you all a new and interesting DIY clay art creation of mine. This time I have tried to show the famous cartoon character Minion swimming. Along with this I also made a lifebuoy to make the whole scene look more beautiful and unique. In the images above you can see how this artwork was created step by step.

Third step:

I made her swimsuit out of green clay and carefully attached it to the body.

Step Four:

After that, the hands, arms, legs and small feet are prepared separately and attached to the body so that the minion takes a complete shape.

Fifth Step:

Then made a round lifebuoy out of white and red clay, with the red parts making it appear closer to reality.

Step Six:

Finally the minion sits comfortably on top of the lifebuoy and all the parts line up nicely. Thus a beautiful and humorous scene was created.

My experience

Making this clay art was a very pleasant experience for me. A lot of care had to be taken when making the minion's big eyes and tiny hands and feet, while rounding the lifebuoy was also an interesting step. This activity further improved my creative thinking, patience and fine-tuning skills.

The result

DIY clay art is not only a hobby but also a great learning tool. It increases children's creativity, hand strength and attention. I will try to make such unique characters from clay in the future and hope you all will like my creations.
